Chair Massage

Swedish

This is the most common type of massage therapy in the US. Massage therapists use long, smooth strokes, kneading motions, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle, using massage lotion or oil. Swedish massage therapy can be very gentle and relaxing. If you’ve never had a massage before, this would be the massage to try.

Hot Stone

Heated, smooth stones are placed on certain points on the body to warm and loosen tight muscles and balance energy centers in the body. The massage therapist may also hold stones and apply gentle pressure with them. The warmth is very comforting and relaxing. You will receive the benefits of a deep tissue massage without the extra added pressure.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage targets the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. The massage therapist uses slower strokes of friction techniques across the grain of the muscle. Deep tissue massage is used for chronically tight or pained muscles. Best for those with repetitive strain on their muscles, postural problems, or those recovering from injury.

Reflexology

Reflexology is the application of pressure to areas on the feet, hands and ears. Reflexology is generally relaxing and may be an effective way to alleviate stress. Reflexology may reduce pain and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety and depression, and enhance relaxation and sleep. Choose one area for the 30-minute and one, two or all three for the 60-minute service.

This body experience is only offered at Salon James. Massage therapists use long, smooth strokes, kneading motions, and circular movements on superficial layers of muscle, using Dr. Lili Fan’s body microdermabrasion formula, specially created for Salon James. Salon James will customize your VIP package. For your custom package, please schedule an appointment with our staff to tailor your VIP membership to your specific needs.

VIP Memberships are for a minimum of 6 months with electronic fee transfer or paid in full at time of purchase. Membership will renew automatically on a monthly basis after initial 6 months. A 30-day written cancellation is requested after initial commitment. All VIP Services must be redeemed Monday through Thursday.
